Job Description

As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of the organization by ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of accounts payable processes.
Responsibilities
+ Sort the AP inbox daily based on priority to maintain efficient workflow.
+ Ensure the accounts payable and expense policies are current and comply with company standards.
+ Review items for completeness during the month-end close to guarantee accurate financial reporting.
+ Perform statement reconciliations to verify account balances.
+ Handle credit applications and maintain relationships with vendors.
+ Conduct AP ledger review and clean up for accurate records maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ 2-5 years of experience for AP Specialist
+ Proficiency in accounts payable, invoice processing, reconciliation, and credit management.
+ Strong expense management skills.
+ Experience with Excel pivot tables and Sage software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ No degree required if sufficient experience is demonstrated.
+ Adaptability to transitioning from Sage to a new system.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.00 - $34.00/hr.
