Accounts Payable Manager
Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to join a prominent gaming and hospitality company in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will oversee the accounts payable operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in processing payments and managing vendor relationships. This position is ideal for professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and have a strong background in financial operations. Responsibilities: • Supervise and manage the accounts payable team to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices. • Oversee coding of invoices to ensure they align with organizational standards and financial controls. • Monitor and execute check runs and Automated Clearing House (ACH) payments efficiently. • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to streamline payment processes. • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all accounts payable functions. • Provide guidance and training to team members for improved performance and adherence to standards. • Analyze accounts payable data and prepare reports to support decision-making. • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency. • Collaborate with other departments to resolve payment discrepancies and improve workflows. • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation for auditing purposes. Requirements • A minimum of 7 years of experience in accounts payable or related financial operations. • Proficiency in coding invoices and managing payment processes such as check runs and ACH. • Strong knowledge of accounts payable procedures and best practices. • Excellent organizational and leadership skills to manage a team effectively. • Ability to analyze financial data and generate actionable insights. • Familiarity with financial software and tools used in accounts payable operations. • Strong communication skills for vendor management and internal collaboration. • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
