Position Summary \n

The Accounts Payable Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the company's accounts payable function to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. This role requires a strong focus on process improvement, automation, and standardization, while providing leadership to the AP team and supporting the overall financial health of Million Air.\n

Key Responsibilities \n\nManage daily operations of the Accounts Payable department, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and account reconciliations.\nSupervise, mentor, and develop AP team members to ensure timely and accurate results.\nEnhance automation within the AP function to reduce manual work and improve efficiency.\nDevelop, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and compliance across all AP activities.\nLead the implementation and optimization of accounts payable software solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.\nConduct data cleanup and standardization efforts to improve reporting accuracy and system performance.\nMonitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track AP efficiency and identify opportunities for improvement.\nCollaborate with procurement, operations, and other departments to resolve discrepancies and streamline processes.\nMaintain compliance with company policies, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.\nPrepare reports, analysis, and recommendations for management to support decision-making.\n\n

Qualifications \n\nAssociate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.\nMinimum 5+ years of progressive accounts payable or accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.\nStrong knowledge of AP processes, internal controls, and accounting principles.\nProven experience implementing automation tools, financial systems, or ERP platforms.\nExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nHigh attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative leadership style.\n\n

Preferred Skills \n\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.\nExperience in the aviation, FBO, or related industry.\nFamiliarity with ERP systems and AP automation platforms.\nProject management experience in process improvement or software implementation.\n
