And of course, in your ideas to improve lives while preserving our planet’s beauty for the generations to come. **Job Overview and Key Responsibilities:** + Process and verify vendor invoices and ensure payment accuracy. + Enter and upload vendor invoices into various workflows/ ERP + Flag and clarify any unusual or questionable invoice + Handle account reconciliation and monitor outstanding payments. + Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues + Respond and resolve Users and Vendors inquiries + Assist with month end closing + Work in close collaboration with Accounts Payable Specialist for payment issues and propose actions to avoid them + Recommend and implement process improvements. + Perform controls following corporate procedures and compliance rules **Education and skills :** + Degree in Accounting, Finance or in a relevant domain + A first experience working in Accounts Payable process or in Accounting is preferred but not required + Good command of Excel, SAP knowledge is a plus + Analytical and organizational skills + Customer -orientated with good level of problem-solving skills + Ability to work independently and take initiative. + Strong communication and collaboration skills + Fluent English (written and spoken), another language is a plus **Why joining Us?** + Gain valuable experience in a dynamic, global business environment. + Work alongside a diverse team of professionals and grow your skills in Procurement. **Additional information:** + Location : Lisbon + Hybrid working model About us + Syensqo is a science company developing groundbreaking solutions that enhance the way we live, work, travel and play.
