Description

The Director of Pay Operations is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end accounts payable process for the entire organization, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors, compliance with regulatory standards, and effective internal controls. This role leads a team of Accounts Payable professionals, supports process improvement initiatives, and collaborates with various departments to maintain financial integrity and operational efficiency.

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance or business related concentrationAt least seven (7) years of experience in Accounts Payable, with at least three (3) years in a healthcare environmentAt least five (5) years of experience in a leadership or management roleExcellent leadership and interpersonal skillsStrong analytical, organizational, and decision-making abilitiesProficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially ExcelHigh attention to detail and ability to manage multiple prioritiesStrong communication skills for vendor negotiations and internal collaborationKnowledge of GAAP and healthcare financial compliance standardsStrong understanding of healthcare financial operations, supply chain processes, and regulatory requirementsExperience with ERP systems such as Infor, Oracle, SAP, Workday, or similar systemProven track record of process improvement, system implementation, and team development

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Graduate Degree preferredExperience in a multi-location or large healthcare organizationFamiliarity with centralized invoice payment processing

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $140546.00 - $228405.00/yr.
