Our client, a leading organization in financial operations, is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join their team. As an Accounts Payable Coordinator, you will be part of the Shared Services department supporting the Accounts Payable team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Accounts Payable Coordinator
**Location: Richmond, VA**
**Pay Range:** $20/hr
**Shift:** Mon - Fri, 40 hrs/week
**What's the Job?**
+ Enter vendor invoices accurately into the ERP system, ensuring proper 3-way match with purchase orders and supporting documents
+ Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, including minor data issues like typos and unit conversions
+ Maintain high accuracy while manually keying 35-40 invoices per hour
+ Interact with vendors to ensure correct invoice processing and payment
+ Assist with month-end, mid-year, and year-end closing activities, providing exceptional customer service
**What's Needed?**
+ Experience in accounts payable, procurement, or related financial roles
+ Knowledge of accounting concepts and familiarity with payment terms
+ Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy and attention to detail
+ Ability to work in a structured, paperless environment using Microsoft Office tools
+ Excellent organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to adapt quickly
