Description
This will be a heavily clerical and data entry focused AP position. They will be enter in a high amount of invoices into their systems, and also handling a lot of filing and organizing of invoices internally. Currently they are backed up on their AP processes and someone resigned 2-3 weeks ago so they other team members are taking on most of that work.
Overview:
•\tProcess invoices for payment with supporting authorization and documentation, using appropriate ledger coding
•\tReview invoices and reconcile all discrepancies using three-way match
•\tMaintain organized and user-friendly filing of documents
•\tCommunicate with vendors, in relation to accounts payable functions in a timely manner
•\tPerform vendor check run as needed
•\tReconciliation of account statements monthly and prepare monthly status report
•\tManage the A/P aging of assigned vendors to ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and credits
•\tProcess and record retention of returns for assigned vendors
•\tAttend vi-weekly team meetings and contribute towards process improvements
Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm Onsite

Education - Minimum Highs School Diploma
One year experience in the AP field - Ideally retail processing at least 30 invoices weekly
Basic Microsoft Excel Skills - Formulas, manipulating data, pivot tables a nice to have
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
