We are seeking a diligent Accounts Payable Specialist responsible for managing the payment obligations of our client and its subsidiaries. The successful candidate will deliver exceptional customer service by resolving issues and driving satisfaction in accordance with established customer engagement processes.
ResponsibilitiesVerify General Ledger (GL) account.Match invoices to Purchase Order (PO) and ensure invoice amounts are accurate.Post vouchers to the Accounts Payable system.Determine checks to be paid based on terms and discount period, ensuring all discounts are utilized.Process checks on a weekly basis.Prepare monthly accruals for the Staff Accountant.Handle telephone inquiries and resolve invoice payment questions professionally.Maintain and archive Accounts Payable vendor files.Assist in preparing 1099s and Form 1096 annually.Reconcile vendor statements and investigate outstanding balances.Support Financial Services clerical and administrative staff when necessary.Collaborate with Corporate Materials and Services to address discrepancies.Process 100 email invoices daily, determine PO requirements, code, obtain approvals, and coordinate with stakeholders.Manage high-volume data entry and maintain attention to detail.Communicate effectively with logistics and supply chain teams.Essential Skills3+ years of experience in high-volume Accounts Payable/Invoicing.Proficient in processing purchase orders, invoices, and managing high email volumes (200+ daily emails and 50+ PO/invoices daily).Strong computer skills and ability to toggle between multiple applications.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.Attention to detail and data accuracy.Experience with AP Coordination, Netsuite, Topalti, CorePay.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with Corepay.Work EnvironmentThis is an in-office role, Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. The position is based in a corporate office with cubicles, where the team collaborates onsite. The work environment is comfortable, with a smaller team dynamic. Successful performance can lead to a full-time employment opportunity.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $25.00/hr.
