Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable (AP) Clerk to manage the full cycle of accounts payable operations. This role is essential to ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and account reconciliations. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent communication skills, and a high level of proficiency with Excel and other financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:Manage all aspects of the weekly AP check runEnsure timely and accurate payment of vendor invoicesReview invoices for proper coding and approvalReconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepanciesProcess employee expense reimbursementsSet up new vendors in the AP systemHandle W-9 requests and maintain vendor documentationPerform account reconciliations and assist with month-end closeQualifications:Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent requiredMinimum of 3 years of experience in Accounts PayableSolid understanding of accounting principlesSkills & Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong customer service orientationHigh proficiency in Excel and other financial softwareAbility to follow structured processes and proceduresDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:College coursework in business or accountingExperience with any of the following systems:SAP ConcurAVIDXchangeApplicationXtenderUnit4 FinancialsPay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
