We are seeking a skilled financial specialist to join our Accounting Team as an Accounts Payable Specialist. The role involves processing, tracking, and recording payments accurately, efficiently, and on time. This position is crucial to ensuring that financial transactions are managed effectively, keeping us aligned with our valued partners.
ResponsibilitiesReview monthly vendor statements.Pay invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization for payment.Obtain revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges and refunds, and preparing and mailing invoices.Collect revenue by reminding delinquent accounts and notifying customers of insufficient payments.Prepare financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Maintain accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.Verify accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.Resolve account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments, and making adjustments.Maintain financial security by following internal accounting controls.Secure financial information by completing database backups.Maintain financial historical records by filing accounting documents.
Essential SkillsExperience with accounts payable and invoicing.Proficiency in data entry and processing invoices.Ability to handle high volume tasks.Knowledge of 3-way match processes.
Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ERP systems, Epicor P21 (Profit 21) is preferred but not required.
Work Environment
The position is fully onsite with working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, offering some flexibility. You will be part of a nice office within a family-owned company that values a flexible work environment.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
