Job Description Accounts Payable Administrator – Mechanical/Construction Industry A growing mechanical and construction services company is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to manage full‑cycle AP in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in high‑volume workloads and enjoys contributing to an organized and efficient accounting process. Responsibilities + Process approximately 1,000 invoices per month, from email capture through posting in Spectrum. + Support bi‑monthly check runs and assist with month‑end AP procedures. + Field incoming AP calls and provide assistance with subcontract administration tasks as needed. + Maintain accurate, organized AP files and documentation. Requirements + 2+ years of Accounts Payable experience, preferably within construction, HVAC, mechanical, or related industries. + Experience with Spectrum or similar accounting software is highly preferred. + Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities. + Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. + No degree required. + Fully on‑site role; punctuality and reliability are essential. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Knoxville, TN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
