Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team in Tampa, Florida. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations while supporting the corporate accounting department. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service. Responsibilities: • Review, reconcile, and process vendor invoices, statements, and account currents to ensure timely payments. • Handle payment processing, including checks, wire transfers, and electronic transactions, on a weekly basis. • Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies by coordinating with branches and carriers. • Monitor and collect outstanding debits from carriers while maintaining accurate records. • Assist with month-end close processes and financial reconciliations. • Collaborate with the team to identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions. • Deliver excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and providing prompt resolutions. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role. • Proficiency in managing invoice processing, coding, and payment workflows. • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including debit and credit. • Competence in using Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis. • Strong attention to detail and ability to reconcile accounts accurately. • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external vendors.
