Accounts Payable Analyst
Accounts Payable Specialist

Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for managing and processing the company’s outgoing payments. This role ensures that all invoices are accurately recorded, approved, and paid in a timely manner, while maintaining compliance with company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and verify invoices and payment requests for accuracy and proper authorization.Enter and process invoices in the accounting system.Match purchase orders with invoices and resolve discrepancies.Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.Maintain vendor records and respond to inquiries regarding payments.Reconcile accounts payable transactions and assist with month-end closing.Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.Assist in generating reports related to accounts payable activity.Support audits by providing documentation and explanations as needed.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field preferred.1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or general accounting.Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.48 - $29.86/hr.
