Job Description

We are seeking an experienced AP Analyst to join our team and contribute to the efficient processing and management of accounts payable functions. The role involves processing approximately 100 complex invoices per week, ensuring accurate verification and reconciliation, and supporting both month-end and year-end financial close processes.

ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices, approximately 100 per week.Verify invoice details and match them with PO receptions, obtaining necessary paper approvals.Perform three-way matching for invoices.Reconcile accounts and monitor accounts payable aging reports.Assist in monthly accruals and support month-end and year-end financial close.Prepare and analyze accounts payable reports for internal stakeholders.Assist in audits to ensure compliance and accuracy.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounts payable processes and invoice processing.Experience in three-way matching and account reconciliation.Strong skills in Excel, including pivot tables and V-lookup functions.Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Dynamics.Excellent attention to detail.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in consumer goods or manufacturing is highly preferred.Understanding of inventory processes.Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required if experience is sufficient.Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a collaborative atmosphere.Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stratford, Connecticut.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.
