**Accounts Payable Analyst** Hourly rate of $28 to $35 an hour On-site Houston, TX Jefferson Wells is seeking a Accounts Payable Analyst to work with our client in Houston Texas. Experience in high volume manufacturing invoicing, with deposits and tracking needed. This role involves ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, expense reports, and other financial transactions while maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. Must be able to process in Concur, do Sales Tax and Escheatment, Invoice Data Entry and Invoice Research. This is a possible temp to hire position being on-site 5 days. **Responsibilities** + Extreme high volume Invoice Processing and Vendor Relations for multi-state, multi-projects manufacturing company. + Maintain accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions, ensuring proper documentation and archiving for auditing purposes. High volume General ledger entries. + Analysis supplier report transactions and invoice details to compute sales taxes on those items subject to taxation then create manual journal entry + Assist with month end closing -Ensure timely and accurate recording of accounts payable transactions. + **Must be able to process in Concur, do Sales Tax and Escheatment, Invoice Data Entry and Invoice Research.** **Required** + Experience: 3+ years of relevant experience in accounts payable, finance, or accounting roles with manufacturing background experience is a must have. + Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or AP Certified. + Technical Proficiency: Experience with Concur, Microsoft Office (especially Excel), prefer Hedberg and Vivid ERP experience. + Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping­­­. + Proven ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies. **What’s in it for you:** + Hourly rate of $28 to $35 an hour with Direct Deposit + Full-time, 6-month contract with potential to perm hire with full Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K Benefits as a W-2 employee Jefferson Wells ( www.jeffersonwells.com ) is a professional services firm delivering solutions in Finance & Accounting, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, and Tax.
