A large, well-established organization in the Miami area is seeking anAccounting Systems Specialistto join their team. This is ahybrid role, offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities to collaborate across departments and contribute to enterprise-level data initiatives.
Job SummaryAs an Accounting Systems Specialist, you will play a key role in translating the Enterprise Data Management roadmap into actionable features and deliverables. You’ll work closely with stakeholders to define product strategies, manage backlogs, and ensure alignment with business objectives through data analysis and user research.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with stakeholders to gather product needs and translate them into a prioritized backlog.Lead design thinking sessions to clarify goals and explore innovative solutions.Use data and experimentation to prioritize backlog items based on value vs. effort.Maintain clear documentation in tools such as Confluence and Jira.Partner with architecture and technology teams to size and prioritize deliverables.Provide ongoing support to the team by answering questions and clarifying objectives.Refine user stories and business rules in collaboration with technical and QA teams.Facilitate demos for senior stakeholders to communicate progress and insights.Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed.Perform additional duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Business Management or a related field.Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Agile Product Owner or in a similar product management role.Strong understanding of accounting principles, process improvement, and revenue management.Experience with enterprise data warehouse environments or similar large-scale systems.Familiarity with agile and lean methodologies.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.Preferred SkillsExperience with value canvasing and business case development.Background in hypothesis-driven development and product experimentation.Proficiency in design thinking and workshop facilitation.Strong influencing and motivational communication skills.Adaptability in dynamic and evolving work environments.Work EnvironmentThis is a hybrid position requiring four days onsite and one day remote each week.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
