Scope of Responsibilities: Oversight responsibility for the accounting department of the business unit. Responsible for training, development and conducting performance reviews of subordinate staff, estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies
Job Summary: Responsible for the supervision and coordination of all accounting activities for ProAct. Involves development, preparation, analysis, interpretation and maintenance of corporate accounting records, and financial reports.
Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.Manage the biweekly invoicing process through the distribution of invoicesPartner with the Corporate Accounts Payable team to ensure timely processing of uploads and payment requestsPrepare monthly general ledger entries and account reconciliations for review by the Accounting ManagerMaintain accuracy of Monthly Profit and Loss StatementsReview application of daily depositsIdentify client billing issues and oversee collection efforts, including the management of payment plans for delinquent accountsCoordinate and lead biweekly team meetingsEstablish and communicate clear performance expectations, objectives, and key results for Accounting ClerksManage the distribution of quarterly rebate paymentsDevelop and monitor all procedures describing the manner in which financial accounting transactions are to be recorded and reported by the company.Apply modern internal control principles and techniques in developing accounting control reports.Assist with the collection of information needed for financial audits initiated by internal and external auditors.Responsible for completing all mandatory and regulatory training programsPerform other duties as assigned QualificationsEducation:
Minimum: AS Degree or higher in Accounting or related fieldPreferred: BA, BS or higher in Accounting or relatedExperience:
Preferred: 2 years previous experience as Supervisor in a Healthcare accounting-based departmentPreferred: Experience with CloudSuite Accounting SystemJob Skills Required:
Strong analytical and accounting skillsExcellent communication skillsProblem solving skills
Compensation:
$60,000-70,000 per year.
The final offer will be determined after careful consideration of multiple factors such as relevant skills, years of experience and education.
