Position Summary
The Accounting Supervisor supports core general accounting functions and ensures the accuracy of financial data and reports. This role assists with month‑end close activities, prepares journal entries, reconciles balance sheet accounts, and audits monthly system reports. The position also performs revenue variance analysis and contributes to special projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Reporting
Execute month‑end close tasks, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
Audit monthly system reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Perform variance analysis on revenue and other key financial metrics.
Prepare financial schedules and reports in alignment with established accounting practices.
Maintain compliance with internal controls and company accounting policies.
Operational Support & Coordination
Support day‑to‑day general accounting operations and identify process improvement opportunities.
Coordinate with internal departments to support reporting and audit needs.
Assist with internal and external audit requests.
Projects & AnalysisParticipate in special projects involving systems, process enhancements, or financial initiatives.
Support forecasting and budgeting activities when needed.
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar field.
Experience with month‑end close processes and balance sheet reconciliations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and general ledger systems.
Understanding of internal controls.
Familiarity with forecasting and variance analysis.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
