Our client, a dynamic organization in the accounting sector, is seeking an Accounting Specialist AP to join their team. As an Accounting Specialist AP, you will be part of the finance department supporting various accounting functions. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a keen attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Accounting Specialist AP
**Location:** Iron Mountain, MI
**Pay Range:**
**Shift:** 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
**What's the Job?**
+ Process supplier invoices in the ERP system (Syteline) for payment.
+ Maintain an electronic filing system for efficient document management.
+ Match invoices to receiving documents in the ERP system.
+ Resolve discrepancies with receiving or purchase orders to ensure a 3-way match.
+ Secure approvals for services or non-PO payments and assign appropriate account codes.
**What's Needed?**
+ Associate’s degree in accounting is preferred.
+ Minimum two years of office experience, preferably one year in accounting.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
+ Experience with ERP software (SyteLine is a plus).
+ Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
