Your new role
As an Accounting Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will: 

Review accounts payable transactions and related supporting evidence to ensure compliance with internal finance policies and local statutory requirements. Prepare supplementary documentation for monthly and yearly closings and for external audit, internal audit, customs audit, tax reviews, and internal control assessments. Maintain GL accounts in AP-related systems such as ICE, SAP HANA, and Coupa. Improve and strengthen AP processes by collaborating with GBS (India) and lead global AP-related projects. Independently perform quarterly VAT reconciliations and filings; manage withholding tax reconciliations, filings, and payments; and support corporate income tax return preparation. Act as super user for global systems including ICE, Coupa, SAP HANA, and Concur; provide employee training on AP processes and handle ad-hoc accounting and treasury tasks as required.

 

Your new department
You will be joining our accounting team within the Finance and Operations department. The team is responsible for conducting the financial and accounting operations of the organisation, including preparing budgets, reports, forecasts, and statutory returns. We manage cost accounting systems, cash flow, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. With a dynamic and collaborative atmosphere, the team works closely to support Novo Nordisk’s mission and goals. 

 

Your skills & qualifications
We’re looking for a new Accounting Specialist who will value working in a high-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll bring with you:

Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements. Good knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems, and experience with procurement processes in Coupa. Excellent communication skills in both English and Korean. Self-motivated, strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, ability to work independently, and excellent time management. Demonstrates sincerity, integrity, a positive mindset, and a collaborative team spirit.
