Job Title: Accounting Senior Specialist – Inventory

Responsibilities:
Ownership of standard accounting processes including journal entries and reconciliations.Data mining and querying of key inventory and general ledger tablesAssist in preparing and analyzing key inventory reportsAnalyze complex financial discrepancies and resolveSolve and escalate accounting issues to management Utilize resources to identify issues, solve problems, and implement solutions with little to no supervisionCompile data to support financial forecastingPerforms complex data mining, analytics, and query creationPerform root cause analysis and streamline processes to improve efficiency and reduce costsWork cross-functionally to resolve issues including across other areas of the companyIdentifies and solves issues with limited/ambiguous parameters

Excellent critical thinking, analytical and decision-making skills Knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles Strong interpersonal and communication skillsIntermediate to advanced ability with Microsoft Office Tools, including ExcelIntermediate knowledge of Oracle, SQL and other querying toolsAbility to work in an ambiguous, complex, challenging and fast-paced environmentAbility to lead teams and own end-to-end assigned initiatives and projectsDetailed and organized to prioritize work effectivelyExhibits ability to identify and prevent potential errors with attention to detailAbility to identify and analyze trends with a focus on identifying root cause to streamline processes
Experience/Education:
Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, Business or Operations Management4-6 years of experience required in Accounting and FinancePay Range
