Job Title: Accounting Representative
Job Description

The Accounting Representative will handle travel reimbursements and accounts payable tasks. This includes preparing expense reports and invoices for payment, verifying receipts, and managing supplier creation and travel-related reimbursements. The role requires familiarity with General Ledger account coding structure, and preparation and entry of invoice payment batches into Oracle. Additionally, the representative will initiate check disbursement, organize check documentation for signatures, and distribute completed checks. Researching and resolving discrepancies, preparing and entering accounts payable related journal entries, and interacting with various departments and board members for inquiries are also part of the job responsibilities.

ResponsibilitiesHandle travel reimbursements and accounts payable tasks.Prepare expense reports and invoices for payment.Verify receipts and manage supplier creation.Familiarity with General Ledger account coding structure.Prepare and enter invoice payment batches into Oracle.Initiate check disbursement and organize check documentation for signatures.Distribute completed checks to appropriate recipients.Research and resolve discrepancies in general ledger accounting.Prepare and enter accounts payable related journal entries.Interact with various departments and board members for inquiries.Maintain customer information for accounts receivable.Prepare, print, and distribute customer invoices.Code incoming payments to proper GL accounts.Post member payments and back up cashiers as needed.Maintain all online supplier information and ensure compliance with 1099 regulations.Other department related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsPrior experience with bookkeeping fundamentals.2-4 years of experience in accounting.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks under daily deadlines.Excellent attention to detail.Capable of taking direction from more than one supervisor.Courteous with great interpersonal skills.Ability to learn new processes and adaptability in working environment.Proficient in PC applications.Superlative interpersonal skills with patience and tact.Ability to cultivate respectful and collaborative relationships.Accountability for high-level performance and integrity.Understanding of worker rights.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to prioritize tasks based on urgency and work under pressure.Flexibility in working environment.Ability to work in a challenging environment with constructive feedback.Regular and acceptable attendance as determined by the company.Willingness to work extended hours, including weekends and holidays.Willingness to travel as determined by business needs.Work Environment

The role is based on-site in a nice building in Beverly Hills, sharing cubicles with three other Accounting Representatives. The working hours are from 9am to 5pm daily in the office. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
