Accounting Project Administrator
Description We are looking for a diligent Accounting Project Administrator to join our team in Saint Louis, Missouri. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in managing project finances, overseeing billing processes, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting project managers and coordinating between teams to maintain accurate financial records and documentation. Responsibilities: + Process vendor payments promptly to ensure timely and accurate disbursements. + Issue client invoices in accordance with contract terms and monitor payment status. + Track project budgets, expenses, and billing schedules to maintain accurate financial records. + Prepare and send client invoices as specified in agreements, and actively follow up on outstanding payments to ensure timely collection. + Collaborate with project managers to update budgets, generate financial forecasts, and resolve financial discrepancies. + Develop and present financial reports and variance analyses for management review. + Adhere to established financial policies and procedures, and assist with audits as required. + Maintain organized and accessible project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, and change orders. Requirements + At least 3 years of experience in accounting, project administration, or a related field. + Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) operations. + Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and other financial software applications. + Skilled in accurate data entry and maintaining well-organized financial records. + Experienced in processing invoices and ensuring correctness in billing. + Familiar with project accounting principles and tracking associated costs. + Capable of preparing clear and concise financial reports and summaries for management. + Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
