Accounting Manager (MUST Have CPA)

Description

Proactively monitor the development of new and emerging U.S. GAAP accounting guidance including assessing the current and future implications, developing implementation plans and training & communicating with the business units, countries and functional departments that are impactedLead the identification, research, and communication of accounting implications in relation to new business transactions and ventures or other non-routine events with the impacted business units, countries or functional departmentsPrepare or oversee the preparation of technical accounting analysis memos for complex or non-standard transactions, including lease accounting (ASC 842), revenue recognition (ASC 606), financing transactions, impairment assessments, and consolidation assessmentsSupport North America, International Operations and Corporate Controller staff and regional/business finance staff on accounting questions, guidance, and implementation of new guidance and development of new accounting policies and proceduresLead the continuous review and update of accounting policies, as well as working closely with GMF personnel globally, in reviewing existing policies to determine those requiring update, clarification, expansion, or modificationSupport and lead training on new policies and changes to existing policiesUndertake special projects and support Global Finance and Controllership initiativesLead and oversee process improvement initiatives for the Technical Accounting team, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence.Supervise, coach and develop team personnel who assist with the completion of the teams responsibilities on a day to day basisPerform other duties as assignedConform with all company policies and procedures

Additional Skills & Qualifications

7-10 years in public accounting or SECBachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance

Licenses:

CPA required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $134000.00 - $140000.00/yr.
