Don't wait... apply today! **Job Description:** **About the Role** The Accounting Manager is a hands-on leader for accounting process execution and continuous improvement, including SAP upgrade transition, process and control optimization, analytics, and people leadership. The manager serves as a critical partner to finance/business teams, owns month-end close, supports audits, supervises staff, and ensures accounting standards are rigorously enforced across multiple divisions/entities. **Skills to Recruit For** **Accounting & Process Leadership** + **8+ years of General Ledger and accounting experience** —strong technical background in accounting rules, standards (GAAP/IFRS), and control principles. + End-to-end process ownership for month-end close, audit support, account reconciliation, and accounting analytics across multiple countries/divisions. + Experience **adapting processes for SAP upgrades** (S/4HANA or ECC), supporting data cleansing, and workflow transition projects. **Internal Controls & Compliance** + Deep understanding of internal control design, effectiveness assessment, and ability to implement process improvements for emerging business needs. + Experience managing and documenting audit requests, compliance with regulatory/tax requirements, ensuring accurate reporting and data integrity. **Analytics & Technology** + **Data analytics experience with accounting/finance data** , designing dashboards (Power BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, or Blackline) and KPIs for team/leadership reporting. + Experience collaborating with IT and data scientists to enhance business intelligence processes and platforms using SAP, Business Objects, Power BI, Blackline. + Advanced **Excel skills; proficiency in Office 365** is required. **Project, Change & Transformation** + Proven ability to drive project work (SAP upgrades, process improvement, workflow automation), support cross-functional teams, and lead systems/process change. + Experience with business process optimization in a large/global or consumer products environment is preferred. **People Leadership** + **5+ years’ experience managing and developing teams** —active coaching, task assignment, performance management, and effective role modeling for accounting professionals. + Able to motivate, support, and inspire a diverse group; strong track record of employee development and collaborative management style. **Business Acumen & Communication** + Able to make sound accounting judgments, prioritize multiple demands, and deal with ambiguity in a dynamic, complex business environment. + Advanced written/oral communication skills—comfort presenting to CFO, chief accountants, and senior leadership (including NJ and France counterparts). + Influences agile teams and business partners; drives solutions and strategic recommendations. **Qualifications** + BA/BS in Accounting required; **CPA strongly preferred** . + Consumer products company background highly valued. + SAP experience preferred (S/4HANA, ECC, or similar ERP). **Summary Table: Skills to Recruit For** **Area** **What to Look For** Accounting 8+ yrs GL exp., GAAP/IFRS, process/audit ownership SAP/Tech SAP (upgrade, ECC/S4HANA), Blackline, Power BI, Excel Controls/Compliance Internal control design, regulatory/audit management Analytics/Reporting Dashboard design, KPI tracking, finance data analysis Project/Process Change mgmt, SAP transition, workflow/process optimization Leadership 5+ yrs people mgmt, coaching, team development Business Acumen Decision-making, ambiguity mgmt, results-focused Communication Advanced written/oral skills, senior exec presentations Consumer Products Industry experience a significant plus CPA Active CPA license preferred ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
