Job Description We are looking for an accounting manager for a long-term role at a large QSR company. This is a 6 month contract to hire - fully in person requirement 5 days/week Toronto. You will be responsible to manage and oversee offshore accounting team; provide daily guidance, review work, and resolve questions. The majority of the role will be to oversee accounting operations for company‑owned restaurants, including: -Reviewing reconciliations -Managing onboarding/offboarding of stores -Ensuring accuracy of accounting processes -Coordinate with the finance team regarding offshore work and escalations. -Lead month‑end close activities -Ad Fund accounting including equipment sales accounting -Prepare/review key journal entries, including combining two entries during close. -Review balance sheet reconciliations. -Oversee Ad Fund daily operations and support preparation of annual statutory statements. -Conduct investigative work requiring strong organization, time management, and analytical skills. -Support ad hoc finance and accounting projects as needed.
