Overview:
We are seeking an Accounting Manager to analyze firmwide financial performance, build dashboards and reports, and support strategic financial planning. This role partners directly with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and long‑range financial strategy, and communicates key financial insights across the firm.
Responsibilities:
Analyze financial performance, trends, variances, and risks.Develop dashboards and reports to support data‑driven decisions.Partner with leadership on annual budgets and long‑term financial planning.Present financial results, forecasts, and KPIs to leadership.Monitor project budgets, WIP, billing, and profitability.Collaborate with project managers on cost tracking and forecasting.Recommend process improvements to enhance automation and accuracy.Qualifications:
4+ years of accounting experience.Proficiency with Deltek and QuickBooks.Strong understanding of project accounting, budgeting, and revenue recognition.Excellent communication and analytical skills.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA/CMA preferred.AEC industry experience is a plus.Work Environment:
This is the firm’s first dedicated accounting hire, working alongside a part‑time bookkeeper and three partners. Offers significant growth potential, including a path toward a future Director of Finance role.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
