Job Title: Accounting Manager

Job Description

As an Accounting Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving the financial processes within our organization. You will be responsible for overseeing the month-end close, reviewing journal entries, processing global payroll, and leading system improvements. You will also review contracts for revenue recognition, collaborate with the deal desk, handle GAAP reporting, and manage year-end financial statement audits and tax correspondences.

ResponsibilitiesDrive the month-end close process and review journal entries.Process company-wide payroll on a global scale.Lead initiatives for system improvements.Review contracts to ensure proper revenue recognition.Collaborate with the deal desk to optimize processes.Manage GAAP reporting and year-end financial statement audits.Handle tax correspondences.Essential Skills6+ years of accounting experience.Proficiency in accounting management.Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606.Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce software.People management experience of 1-2 years.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a SaaS start-up environment.Big 4 accounting firm background preferred.Familiarity with diverse software and systems like Ramp and Rippling.Work Environment

This is a hybrid position requiring in-office presence on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Union Square. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
