About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting team and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial operations. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of GAAP and financial regulations.

Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and mentor the accounting team, providing training, guidance, and performance support.Ensure the integrity of financial data through robust internal controls.Oversee revenue recognition across diverse revenue streams and business lines.Manage month-end and year-end close processes, including account reconciliations and journal entries.Coordinate and lead external audits, ensuring compliance and timely resolution of findings.Support management with financial analysis and reporting, highlighting key trends and actionable insights.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including timely tax filings.Stay informed on industry trends and changes in accounting standards to ensure best practices.Evaluate and monitor cost accounting practices for accuracy and appropriate application.Required SkillsAccounting, General Ledger, Reconciliation, Month-End Close, Journal EntriesFinancial Reporting, Fixed Assets, Bank ReconciliationExcel Pivot Tables, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Balance Sheet PreparationStrong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparationQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA or CMA certification preferredMinimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory roleProficiency in accounting software (e.g., Macola, Acumatica) and advanced Excel skillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilitiesStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
