Accounting Manager

Join our dynamic finance team and take ownership of critical accounting functions that drive business success across corporate and plant operations. 🔍 Key Responsibilities + Own the Close: Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes for corporate and plant locations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Financial Statement Mastery: Prepare and review comprehensive financial statements, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow reports. + Data-Driven Insights: Analyze financial data to uncover performance trends and identify cost-saving opportunities. + Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and manage annual budgets and rolling forecasts to support strategic planning. + Performance Monitoring: Track budget variances and deliver actionable reports on financial performance. + Policy & Compliance Leadership: Establish and maintain robust accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls. + Regulatory Excellence: Ensure full compliance with GAAP and other relevant accounting standards and regulations. + Audit Coordination: Serve as a key liaison for internal and external audits, supporting reviews and ensuring smooth execution. + Strategic Advisory: Provide financial insights and recommendations to guide executive decision-making. + Process Optimization: Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency, accuracy, and scalability. + Project Leadership: Lead and contribute to cross-functional accounting initiatives and special projects. 🌟 What You Bring + A sharp eye for detail and a strategic mindset + Proven experience in corporate and plant accounting environments + Strong communication skills and the ability to influence across departments + A passion for continuous improvement and financial excellence Additional Skills & Qualifications + Bachelor's degree in Accounting + CPA preferred + 5+ years of experience in accounting + Strong knowledge of GAAP and/or IFRS and financial reporting standards + Proficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills + Knowledge of cost accounting principles for manufacturing environments + Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities + Experience with ERP systems, preferably JDE + Strong leadership and communication skills Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $110000.00/yr. medical, dental, vision-multiple plans401K matchbonus potential, split between company & dept successhybrid schedule Workplace Type This is a hybrid position in Riverside,CA.
