Accounting Intern

General Description

The Accounting Intern will support the Credit Department by assisting with process analysis, customer credit approvals, and credit limit management. The intern will help develop and maintain a database of customer-specific collection and deduction practices. In addition, the intern will gain hands-on experience using Microsoft Power BI and QuickBase to extract data, develop reports, and enhance departmental reporting capabilities. This role will work closely with both the Credit & Collections team and the Sales Allowances team to support accurate reporting and customer-specific insights.

Major Responsibilities and Tasks/Duties of the Position

Assist the Credit & Collections Department staff and management with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to the following:

Develop and implement new templates and workflow procedures for major customer invoicing, payments, and deductions Analyze payment trends and behaviors of key customers Support customer credit limit changes and ongoing credit limit maintenance Assist the Credit Manager with new customer credit reviews, including credit screening and reference checks Conduct research, perform data entry, and ensure accurate recording and maintenance of complete financial records Prepare and deliver a final presentation to the Bud Antle, LLC executive team summarizing findings and contributions Perform other related duties as assigned

Internship Details

Summer 2026, 12-week internship 100% onsite (not a remote internship) Pay Rate:  $20 - $22 per hour No relocation or housing assistance provided
