Accounting Generalist
Job Title: Accounting GeneralistJob Description

We are seeking an Accounting Generalist who will play a crucial role in managing intercompany transactions, aggregate material management, royalty and depletion calculations, and concrete materials tracking. This position involves supporting contract administration, invoicing, and tax filings, as well as contributing to special projects and providing coverage across departments.

ResponsibilitiesManage intercompany transactions, including job materials, equipment, crew supplies, and in-store use.Handle aggregate material management, processing, reconciliation, and lease payments.Calculate and enter royalty and depletion for sales on aggregate.Track, reconcile, and report job-related costs for concrete materials.Support contract administration by reviewing, tracking, invoicing, and ensuring compliance with contract terms.Invoice special deliveries and specialty work performed.File Sales and Use Tax for Idaho and Excise Tax for Washington for multiple corporate entities.Assist with multi-divisional invoicing for aggregate and concrete.Contribute to special projects such as cost analysis, audit support, and year-end financials.Provide coverage to all departments to achieve optimal work-life balance and office efficiency.Answer phone calls and emails, directing them as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, reconciliation, invoicing, and job costing.Associate's Degree in Accounting.Experience in multi-company environments.Knowledge of AP/AR billing and contract administration.Additional Skills & QualificationsPreferred: Associate's degree or higher in accounting.Basic analytical business math skills.Excellent verbal and written communication.1-2 years of office and customer service experience.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.Preferred ERP accounting software experience.Ability to organize, adapt, and work in a team environment.Excellent time management skills.Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.Ability to identify opportunities for improvement.Proper phone etiquette; experience with a multi-line phone system.Work Environment

This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Upon conversion, employees enjoy comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage with the company covering 80% of premiums for employees, spouses, and dependents. There are three deductible options available (HSA $5,000, $3,000, & $1,000). Additionally, employees receive 401k matching contributions, paid time off, holiday pay, and a yearly bonus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
