Job Description
+ The Accounting Clerk is responsible for managing various financial processes including the three-way match system, handling vendor discrepancies, and resolving issues efficiently.
+ The role involves billing customers, managing check deposits, processing change orders for management, and ensuring customers receive tax exemption certifications where applicable.
+ The Accounting Clerk also handles daily check deposits, applies payments in the ERP system, enters daily bank transactions, including ACH payments, and assists with B2B collections as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct three-way match processing for all transactions.
+ Resolve vendor discrepancies and manage resolutions.
+ Bill customers and manage check deposits.
+ Process change orders for management.
+ Ensure customers receive tax exemption certifications as appropriate.
+ Handle daily check deposits and apply payments in the ERP system.
+ Enter daily bank transactions into ERP, including ACH payments.
+ Assist with B2B collections as required.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
+ Experience in invoice processing and three-way match system.
+ Ability to perform in AP and AR roles.
+ Intermediate Excel skills, including VLOOKUP.
+ 3+ years of experience in accounts payable and/or accounts receivable.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High School Diploma and/or GED required.
+ Experience in manufacturing or distribution industry preferred.
+ Crystal Reports experience preferred.
+ Desire to advance into a staff accountant role.
Work Environment
This position is onsite with standard working hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
