Job Title: Accounting Clerk
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, utilizing Excel and ERP systems, and providing excellent customer service through email and phone communications.

ResponsibilitiesProcess invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner using Excel and ERP systems.Respond to and manage emails related to accounting inquiries, discrepancies, and payment information.Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.Answer phone calls from vendors and customers, providing information and resolving issues.Follow up on payment information with vendors and customers to ensure timely processing.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting practices and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (vlookup, pivot table, etc.).Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Netsuite, Peoplesoft, etc.Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail.Capability to handle multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to shifting circumstances.Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to professional problem-solving abilities.Additional Skills & QualificationsTwo or more years of experience in accounting, specifically in accounts payable and receivable.An associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting is highly preferred.A positive attitude and a proactive approach to resolving issues.Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
