Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing accounts payable and receivable, utilizing Excel and ERP systems, and providing excellent customer service through email and phone communications.
Responsibilities
+ Process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner using Excel and ERP systems.
+ Respond to and manage emails related to accounting inquiries, discrepancies, and payment information.
+ Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts payable and receivable.
+ Answer phone calls from vendors and customers, providing information and resolving issues.
+ Follow up on payment information with vendors and customers to ensure timely processing.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in accounting, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.
+ Experience with accounts payable and receivable.
+ Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including vlookup and pivot tables.
+ Experience utilizing ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Netsuite, Peoplesoft, etc.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ An associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting is highly preferred.
+ Capability to handle multiple assignments, set priorities, and adapt to shifting circumstances.
+ A positive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and a commitment to professional development.
+ Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to resolving issues.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
