Job Summary:

These Accounting Clerk positions support the accounting functions for the operation in Yellowstone National Park as a whole. Please see below for more detail regarding each position.

 

The Details:
Position Type: Seasonal
Season Dates:  Mid April to Mid Nov
Pay: $18.00/hourly
Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

Respond promptly and accurately to daily correspondence and customer inquiries, ensuring a high level of guest service and satisfactionHandle telephone inquiries and resolve guest issues efficiently, including investigating credit card charge-backs and retrieval requests as neededWork closely with Reservations, Lodging, and other departments to facilitate seamless operations and maintain effective communicationMaintain meticulous records, including organizing customer credit card receipts, while adhering to safety, environmental, and ergonomic policiesAttend required training courses, maintain a professional demeanor, and handle sensitive information confidentially while being flexible in scheduling
Qualifications

Accuracy, speed, and attention to detailStrong communication and people skillsStrong analytical skillsMotivational, organizational, and time management skillsKnowledge of general office proceduresExperience with Microsoft Excel and Word

 

Physical Requirements include:

Sitting at a desk for extended periods of timeWalking, standing and bending are required when documentation is to be put into or retrieved from filing cabinetsLifting and transporting up to 25 pounds is required for record storage
