The Accounting Associate will support the finance team by performing a variety of accounting tasks, including assisting with tax compliance, general ledger activities, and financial reporting. This role requires strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, review, and filing of sales and use tax returns.Ensure compliance with applicable state and local tax regulations.Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely.Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.Assist with implementation and ongoing compliance with ASC 842 lease accounting standards.Support data gathering and reporting for lease-related transactions.Support month-end and year-end close processes.Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.Participate in special projects as assigned.Essential Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.Knowledge of GAAP.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
ERP experience is a plus.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
