Job Title: Accounting AssociateJob Description

We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Associate with general accounting knowledge to assist our Controller with various accounting needs. This role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

ResponsibilitiesUpdate spreadsheets and data for accounts payable invoices and department needs.Handle accounts payable functions efficiently.Assist with a project to transition to a paperless process.Research and correct account discrepancies promptly.Receive and code all invoices, process payments, and manage payment receipts as needed.Essential SkillsGeneral accounting exposure.Ability to multitask effectively.Basic proficiency in Excel.Additional Skills & QualificationsAn associate's degree is preferred but not required.Strong understanding of accounting functions.Excellent data entry skills.Capability to meet strict deadlines and work with urgency.Work Environment

The role is based in a professional, family-oriented, and fast-paced accounting group on site at our office. The position requires a 40-hour work week, with standard hours from 8 AM to 5 PM. The office is conveniently located near USF. This is a 3-month project with the potential to extend or convert to a permanent role.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tampa, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
