Job Description
Join our dynamic team as an Accounting Associate where you will play a vital role in managing essential financial processes. You will handle month-end close procedures, manage accounts payable and employee expenses, conduct monthly financial analysis, and support compliance and audit functions.
ResponsibilitiesPerform month-end close processes accurately and efficiently.Manage accounts payable and employee expenses to ensure timely processing.Conduct monthly financial analysis and prepare comprehensive reports.Prepare journal entries, conduct bank reconciliations, and manage balance sheet accounts.Oversee the travel and expense (T&E) system to ensure compliance and accuracy.Ensure SOX compliance and conduct thorough risk assessments.Assist with external audit requests and participate in ad hoc projects as needed.Essential SkillsProficiency in accounting principles and practices.Experience with accounts payable and journal entries.Familiarity with US GAAP and SOX compliance standards.Experience working with NetSuite.2-3 years of accounting experience in a relevant role.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.Experience in a SaaS start-up environment is highly desirable.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.Experience with ERP systems.Background in a start-up or high-growth environment.Work Environment
This role offers a hybrid work environment, with office presence required on Tuesdays and Thursdays in Union Square. You will have the opportunity to work in a rapidly expanding fintech start-up, supporting strategic priorities and gaining exposure to the C-suite. The dress code is business casual.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
