We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Accounts Payable/Receivable Specialist to join our team. This onsite position, scheduled from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, offers a contract opportunity with potential for permanent hire. The role primarily focuses on Accounts Payable, with additional responsibilities in Accounts Receivable and general accounting support. The ideal candidate will be organized, coachable, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
ResponsibilitiesProcess approximately 50 invoices daily, including both PO-based and non-PO invoices such as utility bills and expenses.Ensure accurate GL coding and timely invoice processing via electronic inbox.Perform weekly check runs and manage AP aging reports.Post and apply customer payments weekly for Accounts Receivable.Follow up on past due accounts, short payments, and invoice inquiries.Conduct weekly reconciliation of customer payments via Chase and monthly bank reconciliations.Support a 3-day month-end close process, including the last day of the month and the first three days of the following month.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr.
