Job Title: Accounting Assistant
Location: Westbrook, ME
Our client is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant o support their finance and accounting operations. This role involves processing invoices and performing a variety of administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the accounts payable process. It’s a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working behind the scenes to keep things running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with the processing of vendor invoices and payment documentationSupport administrative tasks such as:Running and printing checksPrinting, sorting, and scanning invoicesFiling and organizing financial recordsHelp maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable filesCommunicate with internal departments and vendors to resolve basic invoice or payment issuesProvide general support to the accounting team as neededQualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; coursework or degree in accounting or business is a plus1–2 years of experience in an accounting support or administrative role preferredStrong organizational skills and attention to detailProficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel); experience with accounting software is a plusAbility to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environmentWhy Work With Our Client?

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
