**How will you make an impact in this role?**
The Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Specialist will join the Controllership Team based in Rome and will be part of the Accounting and Reporting Team (reporting into the Accounting and Regulatory Reporting Manager) dedicated to Regulatory Reporting and accounting ensuring the integrity of the US GAAP as well as Italian GAAP / IFRS financial statements
Main responsibilities:
+ Support the Regulatory Reporting team in information submission to Agenzia delle Entrate and in understanding of Regulatory changes and applicability
+ Support the Regulatory Reporting team in control activities and audit requests
+ Support the preparation of Financial Statements for Italy Branches
+ Actively participating in reconciliation preparation of accounts and related IAS/IFRS adjustments; knowledge of US GAAP accounting principles is a plus.
+ Analyze Month End Balances and accounting entries ensuring compliance and integrity to relevant internal policy, local and US GAAP of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
+ Provide advice to business partners on accounting topics
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Accounting background 3-5 year’s experience in finance departments
+ Experience in Financial Statements preparation
+ Strong knowledge of MS Excel; ability to manage big data
+ Strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
+ Fluent in Italian and English language
+ Proven ability to build and leverage strong relationships, take initiative, and lead a project from conception through implementation to evaluation
+ Good presentation, written and verbal communication skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and business partners
+ Ability to quickly adjust to shifting priorities, multiple demands and change
+ Work independently becoming the main point of contact in case of team leader absence
+ Role is based in Rome
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Basic understanding of US GAAP
+ Knowledge of programming languages
+ Proficiency in AI
