Accounting Administrator

Description

Process 30–50 vendor invoices weekly, ensuring accuracy and timely entryPrepare and reconcile employee expense reportsPerform accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP) functionsConduct general collections and credit follow-up with vendorsAssist with vendor onboarding, maintenance, and periodic reviewsMaintain organized records of financial transactions and supporting documentationReconcile bank statements and assist with month-end close activitiesSupport internal audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiriesEnter and update financial data in spreadsheets and accounting systemsAssist with purchase order tracking and matching to invoicesProvide general administrative support to the accounting and finance team

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred; equivalent experience consideredStrong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; ability to manage and enter data accuratelyFamiliarity with basic accounting principles and financial reporting1–2 years of experience in an accounting or administrative support role - Preferbly whtin the AEC industryExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsStrong communication and follow-up abilitiesAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.
