The Finance & Control department in Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is a part of the Global Finance organization and is responsible for the full accounting and financial reporting cycle for Circle K European operations.

Circle K Business Centre in Riga, Latvia is looking for a new team player to join our team as: 

Accountant with German language skills in Store Accounting team 

Responsibilities: 

Respond to queries from site managers, representatives of business units (BU) and/or external partners if required;

Check, prepare and process journal entries, based on information received from BU and other partners;

Answer questions from other Company units on processed financial records;

Perform periodical closing procedures;

Perform balance sheet account reconciliation and analysis, resolve discrepancies and errors; 

Handle audit requests; 

Contribute to process improvement projects. 

Main requirements: 

Experience within accounting for at least 1-2 years;

Degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or a last year student  within this area;

Fluent in English (both verbal and written) to communicate with colleagues in Europe;

Fluent in German (both verbal and written, at least C1 level) to communicate with colleagues in German Business Unit;

Experience with ERP (SAP, JDE experience will be considered as an advantage);

Excellent communication and collaboration skills;

Precise, analytical, organized, solution oriented and stress resistant personality;

Self-motivated, positive, good team player.
