Job Description A client in the Norman OK area is seeking a Mid-Level Accountant to join their team for a full-time opportunity. This position is a hybrid role in Norman, requires 2-3 days in office. In this role, you will be responsible for performing daily cash reconciliations across multiple start-up accounts to ensure accurate tracking of incoming and outgoing funds. You will manage weekly check runs and maintain strong vendor relationships while handling journal entries for basic accounts payable and receivable functions. Key tasks include coding and entering vendor invoices—primarily received via email—into the payable system, ensuring seamless integration with QuickBooks Online, and verifying all information for accuracy. You will proactively resolve discrepancies and address internal issues, such as credit card access problems, while monitoring team expense submissions to confirm legitimacy of charges. Additionally, you will support budget and approval processes as needed, contributing to a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
