Position: Accounting Finance Transformation Lead Location: San Jose, CA Pay Rate: $50–$54 per hour Contract Duration: 6 months (with potential for extension) Work Schedule: Hybrid (Onsite Monday, Wednesday, Thursday; Remote Tuesday and Friday) Overview: Jefferson Wells is seeking an experienced Accounting professional to lead finance transformation initiatives, with a primary focus on Oracle Fusion ERP implementation and system automation projects. This role will serve as the accounting lead, managing cross-functional collaboration between business units and IT, and driving process improvements across financial operations. Proven track record in financial accounting software of ERP implementation and strong financial systems expertise. **Key Responsibilities:** + Lead and manage Oracle ERP implementation tracks from initiation through completion + Facilitate cross-functional meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders + Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation + Define and support testing, training, cut-over, and contingency planning + Identify and mitigate project risks; support change management initiatives + Evaluate and improve existing accounting processes and workflows + Coordinate with global finance teams to harmonize operational accounting practices + Support post-implementation activities including training and issue resolution + Ensure compliance with SOX requirements and assist in developing internal controls **Qualifications:** + Minimum of 10 years of experience in financial and accounting operations + Proven track record in ERP implementations, particularly Oracle and SAP experience + Strong understanding of GAAP and SEC/financial reporting requirements + Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field + Experience with end-to-end financial processes including procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, fixed assets, and general ledger + Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPivot + Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills + Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities **What’s in it for you:** + Hourly rate of $50 to $54 an hour with Direct Deposit + Full-time, 6-month contract with potential to perm hire with full Medical, Dental, Vision and 401K Benefits as a W-2 employee Jefferson Wells ( www.jeffersonwells.com ) is a professional services firm delivering solutions in Finance & Accounting, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance, and Tax.
