Job Title: Accountant / Bookkeeper
Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to manage financial records, ensure accuracy in accounting, and support the finance team with day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

ResponsibilitiesRecord day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process.Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data.Maintain general ledgers and prepare trial balances.Process accounts payable and receivable.Assist in payroll processing and tax filings.Generate financial reports for management review.Support audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.Maintain organized and up-to-date financial documentation.Essential SkillsProven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion.Additional Skills & QualificationsAssociate's degree with relevant experience preferred.Work Environment

Work in a small firm with a relaxed atmosphere, offering steady hours and competitive pay with overtime. The position is not focused on growth but provides a reliable job opportunity. The work schedule is five days a week in-office.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr.
