Job Title: Accountant
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Accountant with over 5 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, with specific experience in manufacturing and familiarity with ERP systems. A Bachelor's degree is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft tools and a solid understanding of debits and credits, cost analysis, and reporting.
Responsibilities
Perform cost analysis and reporting, including standard costing and materials and labor evaluation.Conduct thorough reconciliation of accounts, analyzing debits and credits and understanding their impact on the general ledger.Work closely with the assembly floor team for time tracking, reporting, and materials management.Leverage data mining and analytical skills to pull and analyze data effectively.Integrate systems and improve processes, with a focus on automation and process enhancements.Engage with corporate finance for fixed assets, treasury, and banking activities as needed.Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in accounting, particularly in a manufacturing setting.Proficiency in any ERP system and Microsoft tools.Strong understanding of debits and credits, cost accounting principles, and CAS.Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with inventory movement principles.System integration experience with a focus on automation and process improvements.Ability to work collaboratively with assembly teams and corporate finance.Work Environment
