Why join this team?  Work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering meaningful and high‑quality financial support Contribute to core accounting functions that directly impact business performance Be part of a team that values accuracy, responsibility, and continuous improvement Opportunity to work across multiple business units and group entities What you will be doing:  Accounting & General Finance Maintain accurate financial records up to trial balance Process staff‑related expenses, including loans, repayments, and deductions Manage and balance intercompany debtors, creditors, and loan accounts monthly Process monthly recurring invoices and journals (e.g., management fees, bonus provisions) Payments & Treasury Prepare, load, and verify bi‑weekly payment runs Ensure timely salary payments via online banking platforms Coordinate end‑to‑end credit card payment processing Manage cash flow between accounts to optimise interest returns Commissions & Tax (SARS) Prepare, finalise, and distribute commission schedules for payroll Submit EMP201 returns accurately and on time Calculate and submit VAT201 returns for the group Support EMP501 submissions alongside HR Complete and submit dividend tax declarations timeously Reporting & Audit Support Provide accurate, timely communication of business unit results Compile and distribute monthly reporting packs Assist in preparing audit files and manage audit queries Apply and maintain knowledge of internal accounting policies What we are looking for:  Solid understanding of IFRS and GAAP Advantageous: Income tax and VAT law experience High accuracy and strong attention to detail Ability to prioritise, stay organised, and perform under pressure Deadline‑driven, professional, patient, and able to work independently or as part of a team Minimum 2 years’ experience as an Accountant or in a similar role Experience with intercompany transactions is essential Matric/Grade 12 with Maths and Accounting Bachelor’s degree in Accounting SAIPA articles advantageous Benefits and unique aspects:  Exposure to a wide range of accounting functions across a group structure Opportunities for learning, professional development, and audit involvement Supportive and collaborative team environment
