This role involves various aspects of SEC reporting, including the filing of Form 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K. The accountant will perform accounting research to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC rules and regulations.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review SEC filings (10-Ks, 10-Qs, 8-Ks) in Workiva and assist with the XBRL review process.Prepare supporting documentation for SEC filings, including tie-out.Perform U.S. GAAP guidance research and benchmarking against industry peers and provide recommendations.Assist in the coordination of external audit and quarterly reviews.Monitor SOX controls to ensure compliance.Maintain the corporate reporting calendar and coordinate deliverables.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Accounting Operations, Treasury, FP&A, Investor Relations, and Legal.Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements to streamline processes.Assist the Investor Relations team as needed with quarterly Investor Relations material review.Work on ad hoc projects.Essential SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in big four public accounting.SEC reporting experience is preferred.CPA license or progression toward the license is required.Experience with Workiva is preferred.Understanding of XBRL/EDGAR filing requirements.Excellent communication skills and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams.Good understanding of financial statements, U.S. GAAP, and SEC reporting regulations.Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word.Experience with SAP is preferred.Proven ability to prioritize activities and manage workload in a complex, fast-paced environment with deadlines.Additional Skills & QualificationsPublic accounting experience.Experience with Workiva, SEC, and top 3 hard skills required.Proficiency in managing complex workloads and meeting deadlines.Work EnvironmentThis is a hybrid role requiring 2 days onsite. The team supports Accounting and SEC reporting, focusing heavily on technical accounting and SEC reporting and investor relations earnings materials.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $55.00 - $60.00/hr.
